THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I was spoiled rotten this week. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. You all truly make me feel appreciated everyday and this week was just over the top. Thank you again for entrusting me with the care and education of your children. It is truly my privilege! - SS3CG1-Describe the elements of representative democracy/republic in the United States. a.Describe the three branches of national government: executive (president), legislative (Congress), and judicial (Supreme Court of the United States). B. Describe the three branches of state government: executive (governor), legislative (Georgia General Assembly), and judicial (Supreme Court of Georgia). C. State the main responsibility of each branch: executive (enforcing laws), legislative (making laws), judicial (determining if laws are fair).
- Writing Fractured Fairy Tales
- ELA.W.3- Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences.
- Students will use fairy tales as model texts to write their own fairy tale narratives
- 3.MD.1 Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure elapsed time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram, drawing a pictorial representation on a clock face, etc.
- 3.OA.8- Students will solve two-step word problems using the 4 operations. They will represent these problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity. They will assess the reasonableness of the answers using mental computation and estimation strategies including rounding.
