I hope everyone is warming up after our chilly short week back at school. The students are hopping right back into our routines and procedures. I have told them that they are officially closer to being THIRD graders than they are first graders now so my expectations are rising. Also, please note that nightly reading has been bumped from 20 minutes to 30 minutes as a result. Make sure to be logging all of your reading on your Six Flags Reading Log that went home in early December. Once your student has read for 6 total hours they will receive a FREE ticket to Six Flags. Those logs will be due on Wednesday, January 31st.
If your child received a letter about being invited to participate in the talent show, please be sure to turn in all forms ASAP.
Report cards will be coming home next week. Please be sure to review with your students and sign and return the envelope only to show that you received and reviewed.
Congratulations to the following students who received perfect attendance for our class for the 2nd 9 weeks:
Yusuf Alturkmani
Royal Randolph
Samuel Trocano
