Happy Friday! Our first full week was a big success. Kids are really starting to get back into the rhythm and I have already been impressed with some of the work they are producing. We are well on our way! Starting Monday, we are fortunate enough to have one of our Target teachers, Mrs. Husack, pushing into our classroom on Monday mornings to do some talent development work with our class. I am so excited for this opportunity and to watch our students stretch themselves to think in some different and creative ways. Please continue to send back the clinic cards and Cobb County handbook receipts if you have not yet done so.
We started our first IB unit this week, Who We Are, where students have been learning about how Citizens contribute to the common good. Be sure to ask them about the different character traits that contribute to the common good. Below you will find important dates and updates. Have a wonderful weekend :)
