- Adding up to four 2-digit numbers using partial sums strategy
- This quarter we will continue to work on addition and subtraction using the same strategies introduced last quarter but now the numbers we use will be within 1,000 rather than 100. (2 digit vs 3 digit). Please refer to the curriculum tutorial videos for a refresher or don't hesitate to email me if you have any question.s
- Please do not teach your child the standard algorithm (Carrying and borrowing). This is not yet developmentally appropriate or conceptual for their understanding.
